December is here! And that means Christmas is right around the corner!
I’ve been busy making ornaments for my Etsy shop!
I had been wanting to make something with the clear craft ornaments and finally decided to go for it! While hiking through Vermont forests I was so inspired by the beautiful scenery. The light dusting of new snow covering the trees and moss. I love little terrariums and thought a woodland theme would be so nice for a holiday decoration!
January 14th Lincoln Tavern & Restaurant (425 West Broadway Boston, MA 02127) hosted Food Fights. Where chefs battle each other with tasty meals to fight childhood hunger on the road to Share Our Strength Taste of the Nation on April 29th. Lucky & I made a day trip to boston to show our love & support for Nick’s hard work. We had such a great time and glad to see how many people came to this wonderful event. This event sold out within 5 hours of tickets going on sale! Both restraunts did such a great job!
This seemed to be the reoccurring theme here for December!
I had my biggest orders this month and not to mention all were custom! You learn a lot about people with customized items I am coming to find. I had to stop taking custom orders on Heart2HomeCreations (only until after the holidays) I was busy with the orders I was working on plus the rest of life.
I think the sewing machine and I need a quick breather!
Decorative bottles & fabric button earrings
Scarves for days!
Snowboarding pillow cases
Having fun with a little trim!
I literally had one free weekend to complete all my orders and get them out on time and fortunately I did! I also took part in some Christmas caroling! It was really awesome to be around such incredible people! Hopefully, this is something I will be able to do more of.
More buttons for my collection! These were a great find!
Very important reading material. This will take up the rest of my afternoon with a cup of tea.
I hope you all are having a wonderful holiday season! The next time I write will be in 2014!
I’ve been working on a little design for a fox cushion and I finished making it today. I have to say my favorite part about this fox is the little tail on the back of the cushion. Love! I’m also going to be updating with another craft hopefully by Friday!
In case you’re wondering about the fabric I used I purchased it from Spice Berry Cottage. A great fabric shop on Etsy! A little bit about the fabric: Indian Summer Woodland Pine – Aqua by Designer Sarah Watson – Art Gallery Fabrics http://www.etsy.com/shop/spiceberrycottage
I just also wanted to thank Sarah Watson & SpiceBerryCottage for sharing my Foxy Little Cushion on Facebook!
